OneSpan Sign keeps you compliant, no matter where you do business. The solution supports the rigorous requirements set forth under the EU’s eIDAS Regulation, including the Advanced E-Signature (AES) and Qualified E-Signature (QES). Plus, it provides comprehensive support for working with Trust Service Providers (TSPs) that issue digital certificates and timestamps.

Secure Digital Transactions

With the AES and QES, signatures must be uniquely linked to the signer. The QES is a stricter form of the AES and requires signers to validate their identity using a certificate-based ID issued by a TSP. The authenticity of the digital certificate is backed by the reputation of the TSP issuing it.

OneSpan Sign Supports:

Remote Digial Certificates

Remote Digital Certificates

The individual’s signing key (digital certificate) is held remotely by a qualified TSP within an HSM on behalf of the individual and leveraged by OneSpan Sign to validate the identity of the certificate holder at the time of signing.

Local Digtial Certificates

Local Digital Certificate

The individual’s signing key (digital certificate) is held locally on a secure signature creation device (e.g., smart card, token, etc.) and leveraged by OneSpan Sign to validate the identity of the certificate holder at the time of signing.

How It Works

OneSpan Sign provides a choice of native and third-party identity management services. The solution automatically works with certificate-based IDs issued by TSPs to deliver Qualified E-Signatures through OneSpan Sign.
